The Australian Running Calendar is run by Chris Hope, a New Zealand based web developer and ultramarathon runner. I will try to help you with your enquiry where I can, but please note I am not associated in any way with any of the events listed on this website.

  1. I entered an event but haven't received confirmation of entry or payment
    • The Australian Running Calendar does not organise events; we list events on this website to make it easy for you to find events to participate in.
    • To enquire about your entry or payment, you will need to get in contact with the event organisers. Each event's listing on this website should contain a "More Information and Useful Links" section with a link to the event organisers contact details. Simply click through to their website and contact them from there.
    • If a contact details link isn't there, click through to their website using the first link in that section to go through to the official event website.
  2. I need to change my entry to a longer/shorter distance, or withdraw from an event
    • The Australian Running Calendar does not organise events; we list events on this website to make it easy for you to find events to participate in.
    • To enquire about making changes to your entry or to withdraw from an event, you will need to get in contact with the event organisers. Each event's listing on this website should contain a "More Information and Useful Links" section with a link to the event organisers contact details.   3. I'm an international/professional athelete and would like an entry invitation an event.
    • The Australian Running Calendar does not organise events; we list events on this website to make it easy for you to find events to participate in.
    • To enquire about getting an invitation to an event, you will need to get in contact with the event organisers. Each event's listing on this website should contain a "More Information and Useful Links" section with a link to the event organisers contact details.   4. Does it cost to have an event listed on your website?
    • No, listing an event is free. Simply email the details to chris@runningcalendar.com.au. Ideally you'll have a website or Facebook page with more details that you can direct me to.
    • It always pays to check the calendar first as we may already have your event listed. We pro-actively add and update listings all the time and have several automated processes that run to alert me when new information about events becomes available.
  5. What does it cost to advertise in the advertising space on the right side?
