The Athletics Victoria XCR Round 1 is the Lakeside5 on 10 May 2026, a fast and flat 5K Road Race at Albert Park.

The course is a one lap, out and back in an anticlockwise direction from Lakeside Stadium to Lakeside Pavilion / Power House on Lakeside Drive. Runners then finish inside Melbourne’s premier Athletics arena, Lakeside Stadium.

The Athletics Victoria Cross Country and Road Racing Series (XCR) runs annually from April/May to September at various venues in the metropolitan and regional areas across Victoria.
