Bush Marathon Festival

The Bush Marathon Festival in Canberra on Saturday July 28th and Sunday July 29th 2012 has 16K, 10K, 5K and Kids 2K events on the Saturday, and 21.1K Half Marathon, 42.2K Marathon and 63.3K Ultra Marathon events on the Sunday.

These events are fully off road, nearly all on well-maintained management trails in the nature reserves. The courses do not take in the peaks, instead sticking to the undulating trails on the lower slopes.

The Sunday events follow an out and back course: the half marathon is once out and back; the full marathon is twice out and back; and the ultra marathon is three times out and back.
