Canberra Runners Winter Series: West Basin 10 Mile

The Canberra Runners West Basin 10 Mile race on 2 May 2026 is part of their annual Winter Series.

The 16km course is held on the bike paths of the West Basin of Lake Burley Griffin. In 2026, it will be an out and back from the start location towards and past Scrivener Dam, this is a result of the works on Commonwealth Bridge.

The Winter Series events are held on Saturdays from late April/May until mid-September and include 2km, 3-5km, and 6-10km races on bike paths, cross country and dirt roads. The series includes 3 longer races at West Basin (16km), Stromlo Forest Park (16km) and a 21.1km off-road half marathon at Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve.

The club welcomes non-members to all club races for a fee. Please refer to the event website for further details including start times, entry fees and course information.
