The Crack the Crater trail run is back on 6 November 2022 in Buninyong, Victoria.

The event planned for 6 November 2022 has been cancelled.

This event sees participants take to the slopes of Mt Buninyong to test their strength, courage and endurance, over two distances 4.5km and 10.3km. There is also a 2.1km kid's race.

Starting in the heart of Buninyong, runners will ascend towards Mount Buninyong. After a challenging climb, 4.5km participants will turn at Granny White Lane, while the 10.3km participants will continue to the fern and eucalypt filled crater before continuing to the summit. They will then enjoy spectacular views to the south west as they descend.
