The Lake Mac Triathlon Festival returns to Lake Macquarie, NSW from 6 to 7 February 2027.

The event includes a 5km Fun Run on Saturday, followed by Sunday's Short, Sprint, Standard and Junior triathlons, Aquathlon (swim + run) and Open Water Swims.

Set against the vista of the largest salt-water Lake in Australia, the triathlon events feature a flat and fast cycle and run course, with the swim just 100m from the Event Compound in beautiful Speers Point Park.

Juniors (7-11 yrs): Various from 100m + 2.5K + 500m
Short: 250m + 13K + 2.5K
Sprint: 750m + 20K + 5K - solo/relay
Standard: 1500m + 40K + 10K - solo/relay

Aquathlon (Swim + Run): 1000m + 5K
Open Water Swims: 1K & 2K
