The Mateship Run in Currumbin, Gold Coast on 8 November 2026 is a unique 11.11km event, aligned with Remembrance Day.

The distance can be tackled solo or as a 3-person team; with relay runners accumulating the 11.11km by completing one of two 2.4km legs or the longer 6.31km balance.

11.11km acknowledges Remembrance Day itself; which commemorates the signing of the Armistice to end World War One at the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month. And why 2.4km? The fitness tests for the Australian Forces includes running 2.4km as part of their training.

This event will be raising funds and awareness for the incredible work of the Veterans Support Centre in supporting our servicemen and women.

There's also a shorter 5km option and a 2.5km Kids' event so everyone can be involved.
