The Portarlington Triathlon on 13 December 2026 is based at Portarlington Beach, Torquay, VIC

This Super Sprint tri is a fun event for athletes of all abilities aged 13 years+ - from beginners to elite. There is also a Kids' Tri.

Starting from the sand, athletes take on a 500 m swim from Pier St Beach, followed by a short traverse along the foreshore footpath to transition 1. The 18km Bike leg is a 2-lap course that heads east along the Esplanade to Coach Rd and back again. The 5km Run follows the Portarlington foreshore path towards Indented Head before doubling back at Seaforth Reserve.

The event is being hosted by HAI Events - see also the Torquay Triathlon.

Triathlon (Swim + Bike + Run):
Kids': 100m + 3K + 1K
Super Sprint (13 yrs +): 500m + 18K + 5K
