The Richie Walker Aquathlon on Saturday, 11 February 2023 is swim and run event at Gunnamatta Park in Cronulla, organised by the Cronulla Triathlon Club.

This event was designed to honour much-loved club member Richie, who passed away from a heart condition. All profits are donated in Richie's name to The Heart Foundation, assisting their research into the causes and cures of heart disease. The race is organised and run by volunteers.

The races also provide professional-level results catering to those looking to improve their best time, however all participants who give it their best on the day are celebrated.

Distances/Events

Kids (7-9 years): 100m swim + 750m run
Kids (10-11 years): 250m swim + 1.6K run
Youth (12-14 years): 500m swim + 3.3K run
Junior (15-18 years): 750m swim + 5K run
Enticer (16+ years): 500m + 3.3K run
Long: 1K swim + 5K run
