The Illumin8 Challenge in Cooranbong, NSW on 29 August 2026 challenges entrants to complete up to 8 laps of a 5.25km walk/run course at night time.

This event aims to bring “light to the darkness” by raising money for the Eyes for India charity that provides the gift of sight to under-served people in India. It is free to enter but participants are encouraged to fundraise as an individual or family.

Participants can complete any number of laps from 1 (5.25km) to 8 (42km). The first lap commences at 6pm and then every hour, on the hour, for 8 hours.

This family-friendly event (children must be accompanied on the course by an adult) includes glow sticks, fire pits for warmth and live entertainment.
