The Stampede at Woodford, 1 hour north of Brisbane features a gruelling 5km or 10km obstacle course. You'll crawl through thick mud, climb up cargo nets, slide down the giant slip and slide, run through live wires charged with 10,000 volts and wash it all down with a beer on one crazy day.
Waves of runners depart every 20 minutes throughout the day. There is also a kids event on the Saturday of approximately 1 to 2 kms.

The Stampede will be held at Woodfordia, 87 Woodrow Road, Woodford. Woodford is just 1 hour's drive north of Brisbane's CBD. Woodfordia is renowned as the venue for the annual Woodford Folk Festival. This is shown approximately in the map below.
