The Wingello Whimsical Wayfarer on 11 July 2026 is a canicross event held in the Wingello State Forest, around 100km south of Campbelltown.

Canicross is a sport where you run with your dog (as a team) while attached to them with a specialised harness, bungee cord and running belt.

The 4.4km course starts and finishes close to the main camping area. It's run on one of the dryland mushing trails, so it will be a wide forest dirt road. It's fairly flat with some minor rises.

There are 2 distance options: 4.4km (1 x lap) and 8.8km (2 laps).

This event is organised by The Canicross Club. Refer to event website for associated rules.
