The Wings for Life World Run comes to Perth, WA on 10 May 2026 with an app-based catcher car virtual run.

Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you. The race starts at exactly 11:00:00 PM with the Virtual Catcher Car starting 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increasing speed until the last athletes have been caught.

The 2026 course location is the Burswood Park precinct, taking in the sights and sounds of Perth’s iconic Swan River. This flat, scenic course winds past lush parklands, riverside paths, and city views, the perfect backdrop as you run.

100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.
