Wheel, walk or run 5km in your budgie smugglers or your most extravagant red costume for Youngcare's Budgie Bolt on 18 May 2025.

The 2025 event is based at New Farm Park, with the Bolt zone closest to the Brisbane River and the New Farm Ferry Terminal.

This annual event raises funds and awareness for Youngcare, in support of young Australians with high physical support needs.

You don't have to be an athlete… just keen to create freedom, dignity and choice for young Australians with physical disabilities being left behind. Every young person, regardless of their care needs, deserves the freedom to choose where they live, who they live with and how they live their lives. It’s up to all of us to make sure that happens.
