The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon held around Sydney's Bay Run (Iron Cove Bay) is an annual fun walk and endurance event held to raise funds for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis, a life threatening genetic condition affecting 1000s of young Australians.
65K 4 65 Roses is named after the ultra-marathon distance of 65 kilometres, and uses the name 65 Roses - which is the nickname for cystic fibrosis.
The event is family friendly, and features a range of distances including a 7km casual walk, 21km half marathon, 35km endurance walk, 42km marathon and 65km ultra marathon.
