The annual ACT Fire & Rescue Darren Wall Fun is raising money Soldier On this year.

The five kilometre charity run, walk or jog around Lake Burley Griffin is named after former firefighter Darren Wall, who died from a heart attack. A dedicated firefighter, Darren served the ACT community for more than 12 years with enthusiasm and effort that went beyond the call of duty.

Participants can run, walk (even with the dog!) or push a pram along the five kilometre course. Registration is from 9am with the event commencing at 10:00am in Kings Park opposite the Carillion.
