Gift of Life's DonateLife Walk

Wednesday, 28 February 2018

Regatta Point, Canberra, ACT

Run/Walk Road/Path/Park

Gift of Life's annual DonateLife Walk is back again in Canberra for the 12th year on Wednesday, 28 February 2018!

Organised by Gift of Life and sponsored by the Organ and Tissue Authority, this free event helps raise awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation and involves thousands of Canberrans every year.

Two simultaneous walks will be held, the standard bridge-to-bridge walk around the lower basin of Lake Burley Griffin as well as a shorter option around the National Library of Australia. The bridge-to-bridge circuit of Lake Burley Griffin takes about 45 minutes to an hour and the shorter walk takes about 15-20 minutes.

You can walk or jog at your own pace, and pets, children and friends are very welcome. There’s even a free barbecue breakfast on the grass at Regatta Point afterwards!

Long walk (45 to 60 mins)
Short walk (15 to 20 mins)
