International Women's Day Fun Run
Sunday, 5 March 2017
South Bank, Brisbane, QLD
The most recent edition of this event was on 4 March 2018.
Brisbane's South Bank precinct will come alive on Sunday, 5 March 2017 in a sea of pink, as the annual RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run races into town in support of Mater Chicks in Pink.
Runners and walkers will set out over a picturesque 5km loop through South Bank and Brisbane's CBD to celebrate and honour the women in their lives who have fought breast cancer. The Cultural Forecourt will be transformed into a hive of activity to congratulate participants as they cross the pink finish line.
Year on year, the RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run has grown into what is now, one of the largest and longest running female fitness events in Australia. Attracting more than 10,000 women and men, last year it quickly sold out. By taking part in the RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run, you can have an immediate impact on the lives of women treated for breast cancer at Mater.
