The Mount Keira Challenge on Sunday, 25 September 2016 offers a leg burning yet safe, and spectacular road climb from Mount Keira Demonstration School to the summit of Mount Keira in Wollongong, NSW.

This event is not being run in 2017.

A little over an hour south of Sydney, overlooking the magic Illawarra coastline and city, follow the traffic free winding road, accessible for all levels all the way to the breathtaking summit finish.

With a 400m total ascent in the 5k and over 600m in the 10k both offer a unique challenge. Free return shuttle buses, prizes, activities and you can be back at the beach sipping a latte in minutes.

There are awards for ages U18, 18-39, 40-54, 55-69 and 70+; the 1st male and female are awarded category medal and select prizes.
