The Launceston Cataract Challenge in Tasmania is a multi-sport event with paddling, running, mountain bike and ropes course legs. Different start times for each leg will enable competitors to enter as many, or as few as they feel comfortable.

This event is not being run in 2017.

The Cataract Gorge's close proximity to the city makes it the perfect stage for the event. Its breathtaking natural beauty and challenging terrain provide a unique and exciting arena for competitors.



Location map

All legs, except the Kayak, (which starts at the Trevallyn Dam) will start and finish in the First Basin of the Cataract Gorge.
