The Mooloolaba Beach Festival from Saturday, 17 February to Sunday, 18 February 2018 in Queensland includes the Mooloolaba Mile and 5km Mooloolaba Grand Prix ocean swims.

One Mile (1.6km) is the most popular open water distance around the globe for a reason: it's well within reach for beginners and a great time trial for experienced swimmers.

The Mooloolaba Beach Festival program has two new swimming events for 2018 on the Saturday (the Alex Headland to Mooloolaba Ocean Swim (2.5km) and Mooloolaba Grand Prix (5.0km)) and 5km paddling events.

The other events are on Sunday: the Mooloolaba Mile, a half mile (800m), and the Junior Giants 300m & 800m events.
