The Mooloolaba Beach Festival from Saturday, 2 March to Sunday, 3 March 2019 in Queensland includes the Mooloolaba Mile and 5km Mooloolaba Grand Prix ocean swims.

One Mile (1.6km) is the most popular open water distance around the globe for a reason: it's well within reach for beginners and a great time trial for experienced swimmers.
The Mooloolaba Beach Festival program added two new swimming events in 2018 on the Saturday (the Alex Headland to Mooloolaba Ocean Swim (2.5km) and Mooloolaba Grand Prix (5.0km)) and 5km paddling events.
The other events are on Sunday: the Mooloolaba Mile, a half mile (800m), and the Junior Giants 300m & 800m events.
