The Mt Arthur Challenge in Wellington, NSW on Sunday, 22 July 2018 includes the 5km Wallaby Run and 9km Wedgetail Challenge fun run events and the 50km Limestone Ride.
The running events depart from the Wellington Showground and ascend Mt Arthur following marked walking trails and cover some relatively rough terrain, both uphill and downhill. The trails within the Mt Arthur Reserve are typical narrow bush trails with uneven surfaces and some rocky areas. The course cut off for the running events is 2 hours.
The Limestone Ride also starts from Wellington Showgrounds and takes place entirely on sealed roads. The course cut off for the cycle is 3 hours.
The Mt Arthur Challenge Cup (perpetual trophy dating back to 1985) records the name of the overall winner of the pinnacle of the current Mt Arthur Challenge running events - the 9km "Wedgetail Challenge".
