Neerabup National Park, WA

Run/Walk Off Road/Trail

The New Years Eve 50K Handicap Ultra on Sunday, 31 December 2017 is a lighthearted trail run on the 10th Light Horseman Heritage Trail in Western Australia.

The race will start at various times dependant on the Handicap you earn with your qualifying races you enter with. You will be assigned your start time in the last week prior to the start date of the event. The object of handicap is to try to get everyone finishing as close to midnight as possible.

Some of the lighthearted rules include:

- NYE Ultra is Cocktail Themed. If you run in 'cocktail ' dress or suit you will receive a 5km credit to your 50km (ie, you'll only need to run 45km)

- The 'aid' station at each 1.25km loop will also be replenished with 'hoppy' and 'bubbly' beverages. Should you choose to consume a full beverage of 'celebratory fluids' before starting your next loop, and then repeat the feat the following loop, you will be rewarded with a 1.25km credit to your distance (ie you would only need to run 48.75km).
