The Orienteering Metro Series race on Saturday, 1 February 2014 is part of a series held in and around metropolitan parks and reserves throughout the suburbs of Perth.

Events are held most Saturday evenings between November and February, when it is too hot for running in the bush by day. Choose from 3 courses: Short (2-3kms), Medium (4-5kms), or Long (7-8kms). Registration starts from 4.15pm with a mass start at 5pm. Everyone is welcome.

There are prizes for the course winners each week, and sponsors' draw prizes. Series winners in various classes are determined by points accumulated over the runner's best seven races.
