The 15th annual Porcupine Gorge Challenge on Saturday, 16 June 2018 is a gruelling fast-paced 8km race of stamina and endurance, which takes place in the spectacular surrounds of Porcupine Gorge National Park, 73km from Hughenden.

Prize money is awarded to the first four place getters in the Open Male & Female sections, as well as to the first female and male residents of Flinders Shire. There is also prize money for the first and first male/female residents in the U16 and U12 races.

Overall Winner, First Local and First Female will hold the Porcupine Gorge Perpetual Trophies for 12 months. All category winners in Opens receive individual trophies. Junior Categories also receive individual trophies for First, Second & Third.
