Ray and Doris Ellis Hill Run in Traralgon, Victoria
The Ray and Doris Ellis Hill Run is at Wirilda Park near Traralgon, Victoria. This is a 8km and 16km run organised by the Traralgon Harriers and open to all, to honour two of Traralgon Harriers most distinguished life members, Ray and Doris Ellis.
The 8km run and 16km run follow the same course with the 8km run turning around and running back down the hill after about 4km of climbing. The 16km run continues on for about another 3km of climbing before becoming an enjoyable bush trail run. It offers some spectacular views of the valley with some serious up and down sections in the last 9km but more down than up.
