The Ride For Life Challenge in Brisbane, Queensland on Sunday, 29 October 2017 is an 81km loop around the city that starts and finishes at Northshore Riverside Park.
This fully supported ride includes full police escort, a rest stop with refreshments, course cycle guides, first aid, mechanical support and support vehicles. Corporate groups, local teams and individuals are encouraged to register. This is a social event, but due to the nature and level of difficulty of the set course, this event is not suitable for young children, new riders or mountain bikes.
The Ride for Life Challenge raises much needed funds for charities, having raised over $100,000 since 2010. In 2017, all profits raised will be donated to Guide Dogs Queensland and the MND and Me Foundation. Just by participating in the ride you will help to raise vital funds for these charities.
