The River Raid Community Road Ride in Murray Bridge, SA on Monday, 16 January 2017 is held on the rest day during the Tour Down Under, Australia's premier cycling race.

The ride aims to support the local communities of the lower Murray River, showcasing their vibrant townships, dairy farms and of course, the "Mighty Murray River" itself. The route takes the tarmac on quiet country roads and as close to the river as possible. Riders take note that the course is not closed to general motorists so all riders will need to ride in accordance with the road rules, ensuring their bikes are in good mechanical order and must wear appropriately approved helmets.
