Roki Road Beach Challenge

Sunday, 5 August 2018

Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club, Sydney, NSW

Run/Walk Beach Short

The Roki Road Beach Challenge on Sunday, 5 August 2018 is a 4km soft sand run from the Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club to Long Reef and back in Sydney, NSW.

The event was started to raise funds for Roki, who unfairly suffered a severe injury at birth. Roki's days are tough and the race is tough to signify acknowledgement of his hardship every day and that it is not in vain. Roki cannot speak or move but he continues to inspire his parents and many people who meet and work with him.

The event raises funds to cover costs of his treatment that is not covered by Medicare and the NDIS, and his parents continue to build the RokiRoad Foundation with the aim to provide support for families who follow the alternative health path with their hurt loved ones.
