The Ryde Rivers Festival has 5km and 10km fun run events and a 1km kids dash, followed by dragon boat races, a billy cart derby and kids Olympics. The course is out and back going west from Kissing Point Park, Putney on a flat and scenic shared path next to Parramatta River.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Gladesville to celebrate the historical significance of the waterways to the City of Ryde, the festival is a free annual fun-day for the whole family and its purpose is to raise funds for Ryde Hospital, Royal Rehab and other Rotary projects.
