The Sandgate Sunset Run on Saturday, 11 October 2014 is a unique event on Brisbane's running calendar where teams of runners will do laps of the iconic Sandgate roundabout for 2 hours, while a community festival will add to the atmosphere.

The heart of Sandgate will be closed to traffic and come alive with runners and spectators as the sun sets over the bayside suburb. The festival runs from 5pm to 9pm, while teams of runners will get in as many laps around the roundabout as they can, between 6pm and 8pm.
