The course consists of trail running mixed with various challenging obstacles. This year's Burnie Challenge will be bigger and better than previous years and will consist of two events. The first event will challenge participants with a just over 4km course.

Later in the afternoon those wanting more of a challenge can participate in the Battle Run an 8km muscle aching course! Battle Run will be capped at 500 participants with a $20 entry fee, with half of the entry fee donated to Mates 4 Mates, a very worthwhile organisation.
