The Long Walk Fun Walk in Melbourne, Victoria

The Long Walk Fun Walk is a 3.8km walk around The Tan Track in Melbourne to celebrate 10 years since Michael Long and many others walked to Canberra. This event will raise valuable funds for The Long Walk's education and cultural exchange programs.

In 2004, former Essendon player Michael Long and others walked from Melbourne to Canberra to ask the Prime Minister to put the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people back on the national agenda.
