Adventure Sports's Urban Navigation Series event at TAS College in White Rock on Thursday, 6 September 2018 is a Park O Rogaine that can be raced solo or in teams of up to 5.
Park Orienteering (or Park O) and Metrogaining is conducted primarily in suburban parks, gardens, schools and crown land as well as via streets and lanes.
A mass start or "scatter" style event is the most popular, ensuring all competitors have one hour to locate as many of the 25 checkpoints from the provided colour map and cluesheet as possible. Each checkpoint is worth one point, the person or team with the highest score is the event winner.
