The Wings for Life World Run is a global charity running event around the world on Sunday, 3 May 2020 including in Australia.
Please note the details on this page are based on the previous event and are subject to change. We will update this listing as more information comes to hand about the current event.
All runners start at the same time with no finish line; when the catcher car overtakes, the runner finishes their race. When they set off (30 minutes after the runners), the catcher cars will do 14km/h. This will increase periodically, at exactly the same time all over the world.
The event hub is at Patterson Reserve in Hawthorn, and will feature race check-in, bib and event kit collection, bag drop, first aid, sponsor expo stalls, music, lighting, entertainment and amenities. It will also feature a big screen to watch the global live stream.
