Fitness Tips: Measuring Your Target Heart Rate
Susan Grant Legacki at Active.com writes: Your target heart rate zone (according to the popular Karvonen method) is 60 to 85 percent of your maximum heart rate (which is calculated as 220 minus your age). The more fit you are, the higher percentage of your maximum heart rate you can safely hold, and the longer you can hold it. Find out more.

Late additions are events which will take place in the next two to three weeks and have only just been added to the website.

- George Driscoll Sea to Summit Trail Run in Adelaide on June 14th has been cancelled
- Cairns Post Run For Cairns on June 12th is now the Cairns Post Bright Night Fun Run, a night time run as part of the Cairns Aiport Adventure Festival
