On July 3rd 2016, the NikeWomen Victory Tour returns to Sydney with the Nike+ Run Club Women's Half Marathon. The event will bring thousands of female runners out to push themselves to go farther and faster as they run in the shadows of some of Australia's greatest sporting moments. Find out more.

What dehydration does to your body and how you can prevent it
When your muscles work, they create heat. Sweat works to dissipate this heat, but if you're not replacing those fluids with water and sports drinks, and conditions are hot, it creates the perfect storm: your heart is forced to work harder, your glycogen stores run out more quickly, your cognition is altered, and your body heat rises, increasing the risk of heat stroke.
