This week's newsletter has information about the new website which was launched on Friday, cancellation of the Tough Bloke Challenge in Appin, and late addition of MelBushO.
It's been a quiet four weeks on the website updates and newsletter front with the new version of the website requiring a lot more manual migration of event listings than I'd anticipated. But the good news, the new website went live on Friday morning. Thanks to a some comments on Facebook through the day on Friday, I fixed a few bugs with the new search function and everything seems to be working pretty well.
I've now got to catch up on the backlog of event updates, which should take two to three weeks, and then I can get on with the new login functionality. This will allow you to get updates for pages/events you are interested in, mark events you are going to, save searches, be notified when new events are added matching those saved searches, and proximity searching, where you can search based on number of kilometres from a specific location. Watch this space!
To find out what's been recently updated, check the recent updates page regularly. I include in this newsletter a list of the more important updates (see below) such as date changes, cancellations, or late additions to the calendar. And check out the full calendar of upcoming events.
- Tough Bloke Challenge in Appin, NSW scheduled for 24 June has been cancelled
- MelBushO: Melbourne Bush Orienteering; the next event is on 18 June, and there are several events through to September
That's all for this week, so have a great running week!
