Running Wisdom from 100-Year-Old Champions
Becoming a YouTube sensation was never on the bucket list for either 100-year old Orville Rogers or 102-year old Julia Hawkins. But when the two runners sped off the starting line to set new world records at the USATF Masters Indoor Championships in March, that’s exactly what happened. Find out more about them in this article at Outside Online.

How fear of judgment holds women back from exercise and sport
According to Victorian-based campaign, This Girl Can, 52% of women worry about being judged while exercising, and for over 40%, this feeling of embarrassment or intimidation is so strong they think it unlikely they will start at all. This Girl Can's aim is to inspire women to get active. Find out more in this article at The Guardian.

Ankle Mobility: Knee-To-Wall Test
When running, the shin & knee of the weight-bearing leg need to be able to pass over the grounded foot. For this to happen, the ankle needs sufficient range of dorsiflexion. The Knee-To-Wall Test is one of the standard ways used in clinics to test available ankle dorsiflexion as part of an investigation into why a runner may be experiencing pain higher up in the knee or hip. Find out more in this article & video at Outoors Radar.

Limits and the Barkley Marathons
The Barkley Marathons allows you 60 hours to complete 100 (or more) miles, 67,000 feet of elevation gain and loss, an unmarked course, often extreme weather, and countless additional confounding factors. No one finished within the time cut offs at this year's event, and only 15 people have finished the race under 60 hours in 32 years. Brad Bishop looks at testing your limits in this article at iRunFar.
