Ballarat endurance runner Mick Marshall is about to embark on a Guinness Book of World Record attempt for the most desert races run in a single year. The itinerary covers 1,436km of some of the most uninhabitable terrain in the world; including the deserts of Peru, Oman, Africa, India, the US and Australia.
