The SCADaddle for Research is a 5km run and walk in Canberra on 26 October 2025 to raise awareness and much needed research funds to solve the mystery of SCAD.

Join in for a great morning based from steps of the National Library. Walk, skip or run 5km with family and friends.

SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) is an uncommon emergency heart condition that occurs when a tear forms in one of the blood vessels in the heart, causing a heart attack or sudden death. SCAD heart attacks typically occur in people with no standard risk factors for heart attack, the average age of patients is just 42 and 80% of sufferers are women.
