Alpine Quest from 25 to 31 October 2027 is a multi-day, expedition-length Adventure Race held in the Kosciuszko region of the Snowy Mountains.

From Jindabyne, teams of 2 or 4 are bussed to a remote start line deep in the ranges, then race non-stop, day and night, across approximately 500km of trekking, mountain biking, white water and lake paddling, over the Main Range and all the way home.

Teams move under their own power, making their own decisions about route, pace, rest and sleep. They have 5 days to finish, with the fastest team expected to complete it in around 3 to 4 days.

To finish ranked, teams must visit all mandatory checkpoints. Teams cannot opt out of checkpoints in exchange for a time penalty.
