ANZAC Day Challenge in Sydney, NSW
After a successful fundraising effort in 2015, which saw nearly $130,000 raised for Soldier On and Mates4Mates, the ANZAC Day Challenge will again be raising funds to assist both charities in the vital work they do supporting our servicemen and women.
The change of date to the Saturday prior to ANZAC Day will remain the same in future years, allowing those participating in the event to be involved in both the Challenge and other ANZAC Day commemorations.
The 100km can be run solo, as part of a team, or in a 2 or 3 person relay team. 3 person relay teams do one leg each; 2 person relay teams have 1 person do 2 legs and the other 1 leg. Legs are 35km, 25km and 40km. The 2016 event also sees the introduction of 65km, 40km and 25km challenges.
