The first event in the Alice Springs Running & Walking Club's Summer Sunday Series is the Desert Run on 7 December 2025.

Starting from Flynn's Grave, the course will be an out-and-back on the Desert Park footpath, with turnaround points for both the 2.5km and 5km options.
