The Ballarat Christmas Fun Run on 14 December 2025 is a community running event with accessible distances from 3K to 13K, plus a Micro Marathon for little ones.

Based from Victoria Park, the 3.2km course is flat, picturesque and held on fully closed roads. Choose from 3.2km (1 lap), 7km (2 laps), 10km (3 laps) or 13km (4 laps).

The 420m Micro Marathon is for kids 6 years and under, and parents are welcome to run with their kids.

This relaxed event is designed to give people a chance to connect, have fun and be active amid the hectic month of December. Christmas-related dress-ups are encouraged.

Organised by the Ballarat Run Club, the event aims to raise crucial funds and to increase awareness for our charity partners Grampians Health (via the Ballarat Health Services Foundation) and Foodbank Victoria.
