The Club Bargara Lighthouse Running Festival in Queensland on 1 June 2025 is a beautiful seaside run with a distance for all.

As well as the Marathon (42.2km), there is also a Half Marathon (21.1km), 15km, 8km and a 2km or 4km run for the kids.

The start/finish is at Christen Park with all routes on out-and-back courses. Runners head out on footpaths along the Bargara Esplanade then follow the path through the nature reserve to Mon Repos, where the 8km race turns around. The longer distances continue North along the stunning coastline with the 15km turning around just before Oaks Beach. The Marathon and the Half Marathon continue further along the path, past the new and old Lighthouses at Burnett Heads and then return to Christen Park. The Marathon is 2-laps of the 21.1km route.

This event is organised by the Bargara Triathlon Club.
