Black Snake Trail Race

Sunday, 2 June 2019

Clohesy River Road / Cedar Park Road, Cairns, QLD

Run/Walk Off Road/Trail

The Black Snake Trail Race on Sunday, 2 June 2019 is a trail run in the Barron Gorge National Park near Cairns, Queensland.

Note that due to Cairns Regional Council works on Lake Morris Road and the limited ability to access the usual start at Copperlode Dam, the start location has changed for the 2019 running of this event.

Not for the faint hearted. Many tough runners have lost their dignity on the final mountain ascent by keeping Kleenex in business. If you are up for a trail challenge then this is for you, however you are highly recommend to check out the course maps before registering for your distance. There is a cut off time and staggered starts will be managed by the race coordinator.
