The Blackwood Marathon on 31 October 2026 is a unique race held annually on the last Saturday of October in Western Australia.
The original 5 leg challenge spans 60km from Jayes Bridge (located in the Shire of Boyup Brook) to Bridgetown Competitors canoe, horse ride, swim, cycle and run the course that winds through bush tracks, private farmland and river crossings, following the contours of the Blackwood River. It’s a mix of fun and sweat, with many top athletes coming to compete alongside many just joining in for the fun of it. Enter solo or in teams of 5 members.
As well as the original 5 leg event, there is also a triathlon (swim, bike, run) option which can be completed solo or in a relay team of 3.
This event is a major annual fundraising event for the Rotary Club of Bridgetown.
