The Broome International Airport Marathon returns to the sands of Cable Beach, WA on 11 July 2027.

The Marathon is run on an out-an-back course starting and finishing in front of the surf club at Cable Beach. It runs along the beach on hard packed sand, with a turn around point at Gantheaume Point.

As well as the 42.2km marathon (4 x laps) distance, there will be a 21.1km half marathon (2 x laps) and the 10.5km dash (1 x lap).

To ensure runners have firm packed sand, tide time are a critical part of selecting a suitable date.
