The Canberra Runners Half Marathon on 17 May 2026 features a beautiful course in the heart of Canberra.

The 21.1km race starts and finishes in Lennox Gardens and follows the cycle path around the West Basin of Lake Burley Griffin to Scrivener Dam and return on an out and back course. The course is undulating and offers views of Australia’s national landmarks including Government House and Parliament House. Participants must be 16 years+.

The 2026 event also includes a 10km race. The race will follow the Half Marathon course to Weston Park and then return.

There is also a 1.6km run for children aged 14 years and under, held in Lennox Gardens on the afternoon before the main events.
